Who am I ?

Inside the Bottle is led by Henrique Magri Marçon, a Cambridge-based wine educator dedicated to making the world of wine more intelligible, engaging, and rewarding to explore. He has taken part in a range of blind tasting competitions, captained both the Varsity Match and the Left Bank Bordeaux Cup (LBBC), and returned for LBBC the following year as a coach.

Drawing on years of tasting, study, producer visits, and blind tasting experience, Henrique created Inside the Bottle to bridge the gap between wine enthusiasm and genuine understanding. The aim is not to oversimplify wine, but to explain it clearly, helping people connect regions, grapes, terroir, and producers to what they actually taste and enjoy.

Inside the Bottle is for people who want substance without pretension: a more thoughtful way to learn about wine, discover new favourites, and build confidence bottle by bottle.
